Thirdmill Institute’s curriculum is designed to cater to an array of churches, schools, groups, and individuals. The Institute recognizes that some countries, communities, and churches across the globe may not have the means to access proper theological training or the educational ability to understand through common ways of learning. Graphic-driven videos, audio files, printed instructions, and internet resources all make up the central elements of the curriculum that help provide any group or person with their preferred way of learning. Therefore, our hope is that everyone may access the curriculum and the appropriate resources to receive the information being taught.
Thirdmill Institute’s curriculum is made for anyone and everyone by utilizing instructors who are seminary professors, translators who are theologically astute native speakers of their specific languages, and in-person events that help build relationships and provide a first-hand understanding of the needs in specific communities or churches. The curriculum is offered in print, audio, and video files in many different languages.
Many of the countries where Thirdmill Institute is prevalent are known to be some of the most illiterate countries in the world. It is with this knowledge that we at Thirdmill Institute strive to create a curriculum and a structure of that curriculum that is accessible to anyone despite any learning ability. Education does not and should not be limited to those who can only read and write, but to anyone who has a desire to know and understand more, despite limitations.
Thirdmill Institute wants to meet these needs and readily does so through audio files of the curriculum. At a certificate training event that happened in Chhattisgarh, India, an older woman in attendance listened intentionally to the presentation being given. She was hesitant but was encouraged by her pastor to speak to our South Asia Representative asking, “I am illiterate and cannot read or write. Is it possible for me to study this course anyway?” Our representative responded by saying, “Yes, you can study this course because we have audio lessons throughout the curriculum.” He recounts seeing tears streaming down her face as soon as she heard she could study the material. She said, “I have wanted to study the word of God all my life and my education didn’t allow me that. Now I can finally learn and know more about the Bible and my God.” Our representative commented that “Thirdmill Institute was a dream come true for her.”

Prayer Requests
We ask that you pray for Thirdmill and Thirdmill Institute staff who are traveling to Panama in November. Please pray that their time is fruitful and that they have a safe trip. We pray for the events happening in the world right now, that peace, justice, and hope abound. We ask that you also join us in praying for Thirdmill global students and church leaders – for spiritual growth and protection from harm, for time to study material and impart it to others.
